Does any of this sound familiar?
You might be dealing with one of these, or a few at once. Either way, it makes sense to talk to someone.
Anxiety and stress that won't switch off
Overthinking, school pressure, and a constant feeling of being behind.
Self-doubt and how you see yourself
Low self-esteem, comparing yourself to everyone, or struggling with how you feel about your body.
Friendships and relationships
Friend drama, a partner who drains you, or always putting everyone else's needs first.
Anger that feels hard to control
Snapping at people you care about and not knowing where it's coming from.
Wondering about ADHD or autism
Whether you have a diagnosis or are just asking why some things feel harder for you.
Big changes and what comes next
Graduating, starting university or work, moving out, or not knowing where you fit.
A space that's entirely yours
You don't have to wait until things hit a breaking point, or have the right words figured out, to benefit from therapy. Sometimes it just helps to have someone who isn't a friend, partner, teacher, or parent, and whose only goal is to help you make sense of what you're going through.
Whether we're untangling relationship stress, managing dark or overwhelming thoughts, or building healthier boundaries, our sessions are an open, judgment-free zone. You'll never be lectured or talked down to. We'll work at your pace, so you feel heard, understood, and equipped with tools that actually work in your life.

For parents and guardians
Worried about your teen?
You're welcome to reach out first. A free 15-minute vibe check is a good way to ask how sessions work, what stays private between your teen and me, and when I would involve you.

Questions people ask
Do I need to be in Nova Scotia?
Yes, for now. Sessions are online, but you need to be located in Nova Scotia during each session.
Is what I say kept private?
Yes. What you share stays between us, with a few exceptions the law requires: if I'm worried you might harm yourself or someone else, if a child or elderly person is in danger, if you're under 16 and tell me you are being or have been abused or neglected, or if a court orders your records.
What if I don't know what to say?
That's normal. You don't need a plan or the right words. We'll start wherever you are.
How do I pay?
By e-transfer to courtney.cribbcounselling@gmail.com, at least 24 hours before each session. You'll get a receipt you can submit to your insurance plan.
What if I need to cancel?
Email me at least 24 hours before your session to cancel or reschedule. Later cancellations and missed sessions are charged the full fee.
You don't have to have it all figured out to start
Book your first session, or start with a free 15-minute vibe check. Either way, you'll fill out two short forms and then pick a time.
